Client: Chrysler Group, LLC
Agency: Duffey Petrosky
Role: Art Director/Designer
BusinessLink provides dedicated Dodge dealers to commercial truck fleet clients. Previous to this project, the look and feel they used was whatever Dodge was doing. The client wanted a new, strong and independent look for the logo and for all brand communications.

John set out to form a new advertising and marketing entity built on his deep experience with outdoor and health related clients. I teamed with him on the creation of a new mark, website and business cards.
Client: Adventure Press, Seattle
Role: Designer
Cover designs for John Zill's popular Kissing the Trail series, and a few others for Adventure Press. I also worked on the page designs which often included stats and maps.
Client: Carolyn Holt
Role: Designer
With over 500 hand-painted designs featured in scrapbook paper, Carolyn Holt has recently added home goods and clothing to her portfolio of work. For her logo she provided reference: vines, distressed backgrounds and layered imagery. I joined the script C and H by using the flourishes from script type and adjusting and rearranging as if they grew together on a vine. See Carolyn's work.
Client: Pearl Leather Finishers, Inc
Role: Designer
Pearl provides high-end automotive interior leather finishing. I was startled by the previous mark which featured the head of a cow in a very plain, old fashioned illustration style. It seemed like a relic and not in tune with the politically correct world of today. However, if it hadn't been for that mark I may not have imagined the more inspirational cow leaping over the moon; a more romantic take on the animal's final destination.

Previously known as "DP+Company" my current agency decided to update it's name and mark on the advice of a consultant who thought there was strength in using the partner's full names rather than the generic "DP". I had just come on staff and was honored to take on the task. In the end the choice was a subtle change, using the previous mark's PMS colors and keeping the plus symbol, but updating it to create a mark that could accent presentation and digital materials.

Client: PNC Bank
Agency: Doner
Role: Art Director/Designer
Doner was given an extensive name generation and logo excercise for PNC Bank's early childhood development program. We had numerous choices for both the name and the mark. The chosen design was a pretty typical mark for this category, but I take some pride in the breadth of work that was shown. Hover over the enlarge icon to see more.
