Creative Direction and Design
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of DesRosiers Architects, Todd Hughes and I worked with founder Lou DesRosier's sons to develop a film that would honor their father's legacy and the firm he built.
After several rounds of creative exploration, we landed on Force of Nature, a concept that captured two sides of Lou's story. His lifelong love of the outdoors has profoundly influenced his architectural style, and anyone who knows Lou would agree that the title describes the man himself just as well.
The resulting film lets Lou tell that story in his own words, reflecting on his life, his influences and the natural world that continues to shape his work.
